Community Guidelines

Effective Date: August 18, 2026
Last Updated: August 18, 2026

These Community Guidelines explain the standards we expect everyone to follow when using Fivonine. They apply to profiles, creative work, posts, comments, opportunity listings, submissions, and other interactions on the Platform.

By using Fivonine, you agree to follow these Guidelines and our Terms of Use.

────────

1. No AI-Generated Creative Work

Fivonine is a platform centered on human creativity, original work, and the people behind it.

Creative work submitted to the Fivonine Feed, Directory, or other creative showcases must be created by humans and must not be primarily or substantially generated by artificial intelligence.

We do not accept submissions that are primarily generated by AI, including:

• AI-generated images or artwork;
• AI-generated photography;
• AI-generated videos;
• AI-generated music or audio;
• AI-generated writing presented as original human writing;
• AI-generated designs;
• AI-generated illustrations;
• AI-generated animations;
• AI-generated creative projects;
• AI-generated portfolios or other creative work.

You may use ordinary digital tools to create, edit, organize, or prepare your work. The use of tools such as editing software, color correction, cropping, resizing, spelling and grammar assistance, or similar tools does not automatically make a work AI-generated.

The important distinction is who created the creative work.

If AI is used in a way that substantially creates the final creative work, that work should not be submitted as original creative work on Fivonine.

Be Honest About Your Work

You must not present AI-generated work as entirely human-created.

If Fivonine asks whether AI was used in creating a submission, you are expected to answer honestly.

Fivonine may request clarification about how a work was created when there is a reasonable concern about whether it follows this policy.

Enforcement

Fivonine may reject, remove, or restrict content that we determine violates this policy.

Repeated or intentional submission of AI-generated work may result in restrictions or termination of an account.

Fivonine may also remove content where we reasonably believe that AI-generated work has been misrepresented as human-created.

2. Be Respectful

Treat other people with respect.

Fivonine is intended to be a welcoming space for people with different backgrounds, experiences, perspectives, disciplines, and creative styles.

Do not:

• Harass, threaten, or intimidate others;
• Bully or repeatedly target another person;
• Use personal attacks or abusive language;
• Encourage others to harass someone;
• Deliberately humiliate or degrade another person;
• Engage in hateful or discriminatory conduct.

You can disagree with someone without attacking them personally.

3. No Hate or Discrimination

Fivonine does not allow content that promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination against people based on protected characteristics.

This includes content that targets people based on characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics under applicable law.

Creative, historical, educational, or documentary content may sometimes discuss difficult subjects. Context matters, but content that promotes hatred or discrimination may be removed.

4. Be Authentic

Fivonine is built around real people, real work, and meaningful connections.

Do not:

• Impersonate another person;
• Create misleading accounts;
• Falsely claim to represent a business or organization;
• Misrepresent your experience, qualifications, or work;
• Submit someone else’s work as your own;
• Use false information to deceive other users.

You are encouraged to represent yourself and your work accurately.

5. Respect Creative Ownership

Creative work belongs to the people who create it or legally own it.

Only upload or share work that you own or have permission to use.

Do not:

• Claim another person’s work as your own;
• Upload copyrighted work without permission;
• Remove another creator’s attribution and present the work as yours;
• Use another person’s photographs, designs, music, writing, videos, or other creative work without appropriate rights;
• Submit work that you know infringes someone else’s intellectual property.

Giving credit to the original creator does not necessarily give you permission to use their work.

6. Keep Content Appropriate

Fivonine welcomes creative expression, but content should remain appropriate for a broad community.

Do not use the Platform to share content that is:

• Explicitly sexual or pornographic;
• Exploitative;
• Extremely graphic or intended primarily to shock;
• Promoting abuse or exploitation;
• Promoting illegal activity;
• Threatening or encouraging violence.

Artistic or cultural content may sometimes address mature or difficult subjects. Fivonine may consider the context and purpose of the content when reviewing it.

7. No Harassment or Unwanted Contact

Do not use Fivonine to repeatedly contact, pressure, threaten, or intimidate someone who does not want to interact with you.

This includes:

• Repeated unwanted messages;
• Threats;
• Stalking or monitoring;
• Sexual harassment;
• Persistent unwanted advances;
• Attempts to move conversations to another platform after someone has clearly asked you to stop.

Respect people’s boundaries.

8. Protect Personal Information

Respect the privacy of other people.

Do not publish or distribute someone’s private information without appropriate permission.

This includes information such as:

• Private phone numbers;
• Home addresses;
• Private email addresses;
• Passwords;
• Financial information;
• Private messages;
• Other sensitive personal information.

Do not use Fivonine to obtain, expose, or distribute another person’s personal information without authorization.

9. Keep Opportunities Honest

Fivonine’s Board is intended to help people discover legitimate opportunities.

If you post an opportunity, make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information is accurate and current.

Do not post:

• Fake jobs;
• Fraudulent grants;
• Misleading events;
• Fake auditions or open calls;
• Deceptive business opportunities;
• Listings designed to collect personal information for improper purposes;
• Opportunities that intentionally hide important terms or requirements.

Clearly communicate important information such as requirements, deadlines, compensation where applicable, location, and other relevant conditions.

10. No Scams or Fraud

Do not use Fivonine to deceive people or obtain money, information, services, or access through dishonest means.

Examples include:

• Fake job offers;
• Fake grants;
• Investment scams;
• Phishing;
• Fraudulent payment requests;
• Fake identities;
• Deceptive fundraising;
• Misleading business offers;
• Requests for sensitive information under false pretenses.

If something appears suspicious, do not engage with it and report it to Fivonine.

11. No Spam

Fivonine should not be used for spam or unwanted promotion.

Do not:

• Repeatedly post the same content;
• Flood pages with promotional material;
• Send unsolicited bulk messages;
• Create accounts primarily for advertising;
• Manipulate engagement;
• Use automated systems to generate repetitive activity.

Businesses and organizations may share relevant information about their work and opportunities, but promotional activity should be genuine and appropriate to the Platform.

12. Keep Information Accurate

When submitting profiles, projects, opportunities, events, or other information, make reasonable efforts to keep the information accurate.

If information changes, update it when possible.

Fivonine may remove or limit information that is clearly false, misleading, outdated, or deceptive.

13. Respect the Community’s Diversity

Fivonine brings together people connected to Haitian creativity from different places, generations, disciplines, and perspectives.

Differences in artistic style, language, culture, opinion, or professional approach are part of a creative community.

You do not have to agree with everyone.

You are expected to engage in a way that allows others to participate without harassment, discrimination, or abuse.

14. Use the Platform Responsibly

Do not attempt to interfere with Fivonine or its users.

This includes:

• Attempting to access another user’s account;
• Circumventing security measures;
• Uploading malicious software;
• Exploiting technical vulnerabilities;
• Scraping information without authorization;
• Manipulating Platform systems;
• Creating fake engagement;
• Abusing reporting systems;
• Attempting to disrupt the Platform.

If you discover a security issue, please report it responsibly to info@fivonine.com rather than attempting to exploit it.

15. Report Problems

If you see content or behavior that violates these Guidelines, you can report it to Fivonine.

Email: info@fivonine.com

When reporting something, provide enough information for us to understand the concern.

Please do not use reports to target people simply because you disagree with their opinions, creative work, or legitimate participation in the community.

16. How Fivonine Handles Violations

Fivonine may review reported content and activity.

Depending on the situation, we may:

• Remove content;
• Reject a submission;
• Limit the visibility of content;
• Remove an opportunity listing;
• Restrict certain account features;
• Issue a warning;
• Suspend an account;
• Permanently terminate an account.

The action we take may depend on the seriousness, frequency, and circumstances of the violation.

We may take immediate action when necessary to protect users, the Platform, or others.

17. Appeals

If Fivonine takes action against your account or content and an appeal process is available, you may contact us at info@fivonine.com.

When submitting an appeal, explain why you believe the decision should be reconsidered.

Fivonine will review appeals where appropriate, but not every decision may be eligible for appeal.

18. Context Matters

Fivonine is a creative and cultural platform.

We understand that creative work may explore subjects such as politics, identity, history, religion, social issues, conflict, sexuality, discrimination, or other difficult topics.

When reviewing content, Fivonine may consider the context, purpose, and presentation of the material.

However, artistic or cultural context does not automatically permit content that violates these Guidelines or applicable law.

19. Our Goal

Community Guidelines are not intended to limit creativity or legitimate discussion.

They exist to help maintain a platform where people can:

• Discover talent;
• Share original work;
• Find opportunities;
• Build professional relationships;
• Explore Haitian creativity;
• Support other members of the community;
• Participate without fear of harassment or abuse.

We want Fivonine to be a place where human creativity is valued, creative work is respected, and meaningful connections can grow.

20. Changes to These Guidelines

Fivonine may update these Community Guidelines as the Platform and community develop.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.

We may also introduce additional rules for specific features when necessary.

Continued use of Fivonine after updated Guidelines take effect means that you agree to follow the updated Guidelines.
