Fivonine respects the intellectual property rights of creators and expects everyone using the Platform to do the same.
This Copyright Policy explains how Fivonine handles copyright concerns involving content submitted to or displayed on the Platform.
This Policy applies to creative work, images, videos, music, writing, designs, photographs, projects, and other copyrighted material.
1. Copyright on Fivonine
Creators generally retain ownership of the original work they create.
Uploading or submitting your work to Fivonine does not transfer ownership of that work to Fivonine.
However, when you submit content to Fivonine, you provide Fivonine with the permissions necessary to host, display, organize, and promote that content as described in our Terms of Use.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights necessary to submit and publish the content you provide.
2. Only Submit Work You Have the Right to Use
You should only upload or submit content if:
You created it yourself;
You own the copyright;
You have permission or a license to use it;
You are authorized to submit it on behalf of the copyright owner; or
Your use is otherwise permitted by applicable law.
Do not submit someone else's work as your own.
This includes copying or submitting another person's:
Photography;
Artwork;
Graphic design;
Music;
Videos;
Writing;
Film;
Illustrations;
Digital artwork;
Logos or branding;
Other copyrighted material.
Giving credit to the original creator does not necessarily give you permission to use their work.
3. Copyright Infringement
If you believe that content available on Fivonine infringes your copyright, you may report it to us.

A copyright report should contain enough information for Fivonine to identify the work and understand the alleged infringement.
Where possible, include:
Your name and contact information
Provide your name and a reliable way for us to contact you.
Identification of the copyrighted work
Describe the original work that you believe has been infringed.
Identification of the material on Fivonine
Provide the URL, profile, project, submission, or other information that allows us to locate the material.
Your connection to the copyrighted work
Explain whether you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Statement of good faith
State that you believe, in good faith, that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law.
Statement of accuracy
Confirm that the information in your report is accurate and, where applicable, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Signature
Include an electronic or physical signature where required by applicable law.
Providing complete information helps us review the complaint more efficiently.
4. What Happens After a Report
When Fivonine receives a copyright complaint, we may review the information provided and determine what action is appropriate.
Depending on the circumstances, we may:
Contact the person who submitted the content;
Request additional information;
Temporarily restrict or remove the content;
Notify the submitting user of the complaint;
Request evidence of authorization or ownership;
Restore content if the complaint cannot be substantiated;
Take additional action where appropriate.
Submitting a copyright complaint does not guarantee that content will be removed.
Fivonine may consider the information available to us, applicable law, and the circumstances of the dispute.
5. Counter-Notification
If your content has been removed or restricted because of a copyright complaint and you believe the removal was incorrect, you may contact info@fivonine.com and explain why you believe you have the right to use the material.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, we may request information supporting your position.
This may include evidence that:
You own the copyright;
You received permission or a license;
You are authorized to use the material;
The material was incorrectly identified as infringing;
Your use is otherwise permitted by applicable law.
Fivonine may restore content when appropriate.
6. Repeat Infringement
Fivonine may restrict or terminate accounts that repeatedly submit content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.
We may also take action when there is evidence of intentional or fraudulent copyright infringement.
7. False or Abusive Reports
Copyright reporting systems should be used responsibly.
Do not knowingly submit false, misleading, fraudulent, or abusive copyright complaints.
If you are unsure whether material infringes your copyright, you should consider obtaining appropriate legal advice before submitting a formal complaint.
Fivonine may take appropriate action against individuals who intentionally abuse the reporting process.
8. Copyright Disputes Between Users
Fivonine is a platform that allows users to share and discover creative work.
Copyright disputes may arise between users.
Fivonine may assist with platform moderation when appropriate, but we are not generally a court or legal authority and do not determine ownership of disputed creative work.
Users should be prepared to provide evidence supporting their claims when requested.
Nothing in this Policy prevents a copyright owner from pursuing remedies available under applicable law.
9. Third-Party Content
Fivonine may contain links to or references to content hosted outside of Fivonine.
If the allegedly infringing material is hosted entirely by a third party, you may need to contact that website or service directly.
Fivonine does not control third-party platforms and cannot guarantee that third-party content will be removed.
10. Fivonine's Own Copyright
Fivonine's original website content, branding, logos, design elements, text, graphics, and other materials may be protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, or commercially exploit Fivonine-owned materials without appropriate permission.
11. Creative Work Submitted to Fivonine
Fivonine is designed to help creators showcase their work.
When you submit your work, you retain your ownership rights.
You give Fivonine the limited permissions described in the Terms of Use so that we can operate the Platform and display and promote your submission.
Fivonine does not acquire ownership of your work simply because you submit it.
Creators should carefully review the Terms of Use before submitting work.

14. Relationship to the Terms of Use
This Copyright Policy forms part of Fivonine's broader platform policies.
It should be read together with the Fivonine Terms of Use and Community Guidelines.
If there is a conflict between this Policy and applicable copyright law, applicable law will control.
Fivonine's goal is to make it easier for Haitian creators to share their work while respecting the rights and ownership of the people who create it.
